Summary: Excellent camera
Comment: This 8mp camera works fantastic, the quality pictures are incredible and its many features let me do what i couldnt do with a previous 5mp kodak camera i had before. First the screen size is perfect, very bright and clear, the mobility of the screen helps on keeping the surface of the screen protected when not in use. it takes only 1 sec to start taking pictures after it is turned on. while in video camera mode you can zoom in/out, video quality excellent. i still haven't used the other many features but so far is doing so good.
What i don't like but it's not a big deal is the amount of batteries it uses (4AA) but it compensates with the lenght of battery life.

Summary: Solid All Purpose Camera
Comment: Canon's product quality and customer service led me to buy the camera and it has not disappointed. It has all the picture quality and features I could need for everyday use. I find I use the video feature of the camera as much as taking still pictures. It's easy to bounce back and forth and the camera lets you easily adjust resolution for e-mailing video clips and pictures to friends and family.

Summary: Powershot A630 - Big bang for the buck
Comment: Gotta love it - easy to use, simple instructions make even the most complicated setting a breeze. Love the pivoting viewer - makes lining up the group shot easier and never a worry about scratching or cracking it. Wish it was smaller but then again the size is due to the batteries (AA) which last surprising long and for the forgetful charging impaired you are never too far from somplace that sells them. Videos are amazing - clear video and audio - sorry I didn't buy it sooner

Summary: Canon A630 hits a homerun!
Comment: After considerable research, I chose to replace my Olympus D-520 with the Canon A 630. The primary reason was to be able to take pictures of coins for E-Bay sale, and this camera fit the bill to the T. True, it took some experimenting to figure out the right settings to do this, but once I had it figured out, the pictures were precise and detailed, and just what I was looking for. This camera has so many settings and possibilities that I am now looking for opportunities to utilize it to its fullest potential. If you are just looking for a point and shoot, just set it and forget it, and shoot away. If you are a pro, this should answer all your needs. I am a happy camper.......
